United States of America
The Birth of Beyond Trails & Tales
It all began when I was 17. My family was planning a trip to the United States, but between work, life, and everything else, they just didn’t have the time or energy to plan. So, they turned to me. Little did they know, I would pour my heart into this task—not just for hours, but for MONTHS.
And what did I give them? A trip they’ll never forget.
Instead of following the usual tourist trail, I took my family to hidden gems. Instead of the Empire State Building, we explored an underground treasure—a secret metro station that even made it into a Harry Potter film. And at Grand Central Terminal, I whispered into an archway, and the security guards nearby did the same, intrigued by the curious acoustics. Yes, we were that family, bringing a little extra magic to every corner of New York City.
Speaking of hidden gems, have you heard of SpyScape in NYC? Everyone knows about the Intrepid Museum, but SpyScape? A whole new world of interactive espionage awaits you.
Then, let’s talk Washington DC. Sure, it’s brimming with historical landmarks, but did you know that many museums won’t let you in unless you've pre-booked? It’s not always easy to find out about these things, but the experience is all the more rewarding when you plan ahead. And Arlington Cemetery? You’d be surprised at how much more there is to see than just the famous tombstones.

As for Key West, you might be thinking, “Oh, just another beach holiday.” But have you heard of the six-fingered cats? Or Tortuga Island, the setting for Pirates of the Caribbean? And how about visiting the original office of Pan American Airlines?
Heading to Orlando? Sure, Disney and Universal Studios are on everyone’s list, but do you know about Cape Canaveral? No, it’s not just a rocket launch station. You can actually play with a simulator and land a moon module—all included in the entry price. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience that adds a whole new dimension to your trip.
And Atlanta? Not just a layover hub. It’s home to one of the most fascinating museums I’ve ever visited: The World of Coca-Cola. Here, you can taste drinks from every corner of the world and learn the fascinating story behind the world’s most iconic soda. Oh, and don’t forget to visit Martin Luther King’s childhood home while you're there.
The USA is vast, diverse, and full of surprises. With each city comes a different experience, and within each city, there are countless hidden spots waiting to be uncovered. The best part? You don’t have to break the bank to experience them. Proper planning can save you a ton and make sure you’re seeing the best parts of this incredible country without the crowds.
I’d love to help you plan your own adventure through the USA and show you the side of it that most tourists miss—just like I did for my own family. Reach out, and let’s make your trip unforgettable!
