Barcelona:
A city brimming with history, beauty, and life. But I have to ask—when you visited the Sagrada Familia, did you count the columns? There’s a hidden secret behind that number, and it’s not just what’s visible at first glance. Barcelona also boasts some unusual museums—one where your entrance ticket is a literal chocolate bar! How’s that for unique?
Andalusia:
Granada is one of my all-time favourite destinations. Beyond the iconic Alhambra, have you explored the surrounding hikes or stumbled upon a hidden cemetery? Granada’s history often hides behind its picturesque cobblestone streets, so don’t forget to look up and around.
Seville is another treasure, vibrant and full of life. But did you know it’s home to Columbus’ final resting place? Or that you can watch an authentic Flamenco show for free? And for Game of Thrones fans, you’ll find numerous filming locations scattered throughout the city. Winter has indeed come to Seville!
Santiago de Compostela:
Sure, you know it as the end of the famed Camino de Santiago pilgrimage, but do you know the history behind the Camino itself? Or have you heard of the whispering bench? It's a hidden gem that brings an enchanting twist to the city’s atmosphere. And if you want to reconnect with nature, walk through a hidden park—don’t just walk, walk under a forest of acacia flowers.
